On Saturday, March 14, trivia lovers donned their thinking caps and gathered for Travinia—our annual mash‑up of freewheeling pub‑style trivia and the laid‑back charm of Ravinia, the beloved Highland Park music venue known for picnics on the lawn and easygoing summer evenings.
Guests stepped into our brightly decorated auditorium and warmed up on our interactive trivia wall before settling in for the main event. Everyone was encouraged to BYOB—Bring Your Own (Picnic) Basket—and, naturally, Bring Your Own Brains. Trivia Quizmaster Rex kept the momentum high with upbeat tunes as teams and Sisters alike tackled several rounds of clever, tricky, and occasionally head‑scratching questions.
When the final scores were tallied, The Trivia Goats claimed first place and walked away with well‑earned Starbucks gift cards. Creativity also had its moment in the spotlight with an award for “Best Team Name,” which went to the delightfully punny Little Snifters of the Pour, a nod to brandy enthusiasts everywhere.
Travinia remains one of the most anticipated events of the year in our Home—an evening filled with laughter, friendly competition, and genuine community spirit. We’re already looking forward to the next one and can’t wait to see everyone back with their thinking caps on.
