Here at St. Mary’s Home, we love a good party. Any reason to celebrate is a good reason to celebrate in our book! So, when it came time once again for our annual New Year’s Eve party, we pulled out all the stops. Residents got in the spirit with party hats, noise makers, and brought with them their best dance moves to ring in the new year. We were once again blessed by the ever-talented, hilarious Briggs Sisters—Buffy, Charmin, Jenny, and Jackie—who performed skits, sang and danced to iconic pop hits from throughout the years. These fun-loving sisters helped our Residents boogie the night away to songs from artists like Whitney Houston, Sister Sledge, Taylor Swift, the Jackson 5, and, very fittingly, songs from the Sound of Music. A fan favorite, “Love Train,” got the whole room grooving with a conga line! Even our Sisters couldn’t resist dancing along with them!
We are truly blessed to have the Briggs Sisters join us to celebrate the New Year every year, and we can’t wait to see what fun they’ll bring with them next time!
