We are excited to announce the success of our most recent fundraiser, our annual Wine Tasting, Chez Ste. Marie—A Taste of France!
Although the morning began with uncertain skies, the weather cleared just in time to welcome guests to a perfect late summer evening. This year we were truly blessed. Over 360 wine enthusiasts registered for this special event, ensuring the largest attendance ever for this much-anticipated soirée. Seeing so many familiar friends, along with so many new faces, was both humbling and deeply gratifying.
The atmosphere was magical. A string quartet, provided by DePaul University, set the mood for a relaxing, sophisticated evening. The hor d’oeuvres were scrumptious, and, of course, the wine was très bien! This charming evening under enchanting garden lights provided the perfect atmosphere for conversation and fun, as guests circulated throughout our St. Mary’s Home_jardin_ and sipped wines from all over the globe, all to raise funds for the mission of the Little Sisters.
To all who supported our event, especially the House of Glunz who host this beautiful event each year, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. With utmost certainty, we can say that this year’s Chez Ste. Marie—A Taste of France was an evening to remember!
Since we know a picture is worth a thousand words, please enjoy these photos that capture the sparkle of the evening. What a dazzling night!
