There are few things sweeter in our Home than an ice cream social and quality time with one another. Easter Monday at St. Mary’s Home gave our Residents just that! Our Sisters invited everyone—Residents, volunteers, and staff—to come celebrate the holiday with them with an ice cream social! Wearing their new Easter Egg themed serving aprons, Sisters enthusiastically served up chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream with all the extras to a line of excited guests. Our new Sister, Sister Rose Marie, acted as the impromptu Easter Bunny, serving up whipped cream and delicious toppings to finish off everyone’s sweet treats. Listening to the hits of yesteryear, and with the company of their friends and neighbors here and St. Mary’s, Residents couldn’t help but have smiles on their faces.
